Patio and Fire Pit in Georgetown

Artistic Landscapes LLC built a raised patio for a Georgetown family that was finished with Techo-Bloc's Everest pavers set in a herringbone pattern and outlined with Unilock's Copthorne pavers. The prior patio was just a little too small. The patio had timbers that were rotting out and not enough room for the table and chairs. Artistic Landscapes extended the patio and installed granite for the support to keep the patio raised. But, instead of having a step down onto the lawn we regraded the lawn up to the top of the granite so that they can easily walk off the patio and onto the lawn.
With the additional patio space, we were able to build the natural stone firepit and stone sitting wall that the client wanted. The firepit and natural stone wall were built with the same natural stones and Artistic Landscapes custom cut and finished the large cap stones. Fire rated bricks and heat resistant mortar were used inside the firepit.
The homeowners love their new patio and firepit. The following picture shows the old patio and timbers.
