Artistic Landscapes built an outdoor kitchen for a North Andover, MA family that is between their house and their pool. This family loves bbq and smoked foods thus they requested a smoker be included in the design. We designed their outdoor kitchen to include the Kalamazoo Smoker as it is the epitome of turn it on and come back in 8 or 12 hours when your food is cooked. The Kalamazoo smoker can be set to a specific temperature and the components monitor the temperature and allow for the damper to open/close as needed to keep the temperature. This family loves their smoker and eventhough they have tried to fill it up during some of their parties, the smoker has enough shelving that they always have room. We located the smoker at the end of the counter as this location minimizes the impact of the smoke on the people sitting at the counter.
Next to the smoker, Artistic Landscapes installed the Kalamazoo K42 built-in grill. This grill is amazing. We had a plumber bring the natural gas line directly into the grill so that the family no longer has to bring propane tanks to get refilled and they never runout of gas while grilling. This grill is larger than most people need on a daily basis but it works so great that it is worth having the extra space (plus they don't turn on all of the heating elements when they are grilling for just themselves).
