Eva Paver Walkway in Byfield

This Byfield, MA family wanted a clean walkway from the street to the front door because they had to walk on their grass/mud to get the mail. They also wanted to replace the stepping stones that had settled into the mud between the driveway and the front door. Artistic Landscapes designed the two walkways so that they would merge in a location that worked with the existing elevation and will allow people to walk in a natural way while staying on the clean, paver walkway. These walkways were built with Techo-Bloc's Eva pavers.
The following picture shows the lack of a walkway to the street and the mailbox and the sunken stepping stones.
As we excavated and began preparing to install our 3/4" crushed stone base materials, we noticed that the client's front step was just sitting on top of dirt. We talked to them and they agreed to allow us to install a proper base beneath the granite step. At this same time, we turned the granite step so that the natural edge was visible rather than the sewn edge. This little details allows the granite to go better with the granite step by the mailbox and the stones on this property.
The clients are very pleased with the new entrance to their house and we are very pleased that the stones and flow of the walkways go together so nicely.
