Lighting Expertise - Wine Room

Artistic Landscapes experience in designing and programming landscape lighting systems has led us to design lighting systems within family homes. This Georgetown family had a wine room built with a lighting system designed by Tony. We worked with the wine cabinet designer to create a lighting system that meets the client goals. We typically work with FX Luminaire lighting fixtures and controllers but the wine cabinet designer wanted to utilize lights by American Lighting Systems so we learned the terminology and lighting options offered by American Lighting to achieve our lighting goals. Artistic Landscapes had many conversations with the wine cabinet designer and American Lighting personnel to allow the local electrician to provide us with the design that we wanted. We programmed all of the lights and created Scenes/Themes that make it easy for this family to switch the lights to pre-programmed looks. We were also able to 'tint the white light' so that it is more of a tan light than white as the tan light blends better with the wood of the cabinetry and the dark wine bottles than a bright white would.

Artistic Landscapes served as one of the general contractors along with Breen Construction Services. It was a pleasure working with Revel Wine Cellars (wine cabinet designer), Benchmark Wood Studios (wine cabinet builder), Carl Maglio (electrician), Hall Sheetmetal (the duct work) and Elite Mechanical Services.

Artistic Landscapes created 5 different lighting areas within the wine room so that the client does not need to have every light on every time. The following pictures show the impact of the RGB color lights.
