Natural Stone Firepit in Danvers

This family has a pool and wanted to add to their backyard so that they would get more enjoyment and spend more time in their yard. After listening to our client, we designed a patio and natural stone firepit for them. As you will see in this picture, we built the wood burning firepit before we built the patio. We excavated for the firepit, installed crushed stone for drainage and support prior to pouring a concrete pad. The stones of the firepit all sit on this concrete pad. The center of the concrete pad has a drainage opening so that we do not collect rain, snow or other water within the firepit. The bricks that line the inside are all fire rated as is the mortar that was used to hold the bricks together.
