Tons of curb appeal from paver driveway with Unilock Brussels Block and cobblestone apron.
The prior driveway was uneven, puddled and lacked curb appeal. The puddles would stay for days due to poor drainage and the driveway grading. We removed the existing base materials and installed 3/4" crushed stone and 3/8" crushed stone as the base for the pavers. The crushed stone is further supported with a layer of geotextile to prevent rutting from the cars.
The downspout which was emptying onto the old driveway was set into a 4" solid pipe and the water was redirected into a dry well that we built in the front yard. This keeps water away from the foundation and minimizes ice build up in the winter.
